Aniqah Jasmine Khan joined the World Bank in 2003 based in the Bangladesh Country Office. After working there in the External Affairs Team and Country Management Unit till 2009, she moved to Washington DC to join the South Asia Social Protection Unit. Having spent most of her professional life at the Bank, she remains inspired and motivated witnessing the perseverence of her colleagues and friends committed to one day achieving a world free of poverty. She loves to travel and takes comfort in discovering how people and cultures are still similar even when divided geographically.
