Anita Ellmauer-Klambauer has been a Junior Professional Officer in the Urban Development team of the Social, Urban, Rural and Resilience Global Practice of the World Bank Group in Washington DC since October 2016. She has been working on project preparation and implementation of integrated urban and regional development projects as well as analytical reports in different countries in Europe and Central Asia, as well as outside of this region. Before joining the World Bank Group, Anita was working with the Austrian Development Agency with a focus on South-Eastern Europe and with the Austrian Financial Market Authority in bank supervision. Anita obtained degrees in law and in economics in Vienna and holds a Master’s Degree in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
