Anita Ellmauer-Klambauer is an Urban Development Specialist in the World Bank’s Urban, Resilience and Land Global Department, currently based in Vienna. Since 2016, Anita has worked on a wide variety of lending operations, technical assistance projects and analytical reports in the Europe and Central Asia Region and beyond, focusing on green and sustainable cities, regional and local development, municipal service delivery as well as disaster risk management and urban resilience. Anita holds a master’s degree in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and obtained degrees in law and in economics in Vienna.
