Anna Autio is Program Manager with the World Bank in its Governance Global Practice in Washington DC. Anna leads the World Bank trust fund on human rights and development, and advises on human rights and protection in development projects, particularly in conflict and post-conflict contexts. Prior to the World Bank, Anna worked for UNESCO in Tunisia and Morocco, heading the Tunis office and coordinating freedom of expression and gender work in Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Syria, Tunisia, and Yemen. She also worked for UNEP in Geneva as a legal officer, and for international law firms as a practicing lawyer specialized in public international law and European Union law. Anna is admitted to legal practice in Australia and holds degrees from Oxford University, University of Sydney, and King's College London.
