Anna O’Donnell is a Lead Social Development Specialist in the Social Sustainability and Inclusion Global Practice of the World Bank. Since joining the World Bank, she has worked on programs focused on community and local development, gender and social inclusion, community based and low income housing, youth empowerment in the digital economy, and the social dimensions of climate change. She has worked across several countries spanning three regions, including Europe and Central Asia, East Asia and the Pacific and the South Asia Regions of the World Bank. Anna holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Maryland at College Park.
