Anna Okola worked as a Transport Engineer for the Latin America & Caribbean Region at the World Bank focused on rural, inter-urban and urban transport projects, leading efforts on urban road infrastructure projects as well as policy dialogue on walking, cycling, and safety in Ecuador. Prior to joining the Bank as a Young Professional, Anna worked as a Traffic Safety Engineer, Transport Planner, Transport Researcher, and Construction Project Assistant Engineer, and holds master’s degrees in Transport Engineering and Public Affairs from the University of Texas at Austin, and a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University. Currently is Senior Transport Engineer at African Development Bank.
