Archit Singhal is a short-term Consultant with the World Bank. Currently in his role with the Bank, he is contributing to a number of quantitative outputs related to student learning outcomes, classroom construction, teacher hiring and school leadership in Malawi. He has previously worked as a development researcher at LSE, Indian Statistical Institute (Delhi), Indian School of Business (Hyderabad), and the University of Chicago. His research profile includes work on clean energy, agriculture and food distribution, labor market and education in the context of India, Uganda, and Papua New Guinea. He holds a Master’s in Economics from the London School of Economics (LSE), and a Bachelor’s in Economics from the University of Delhi, India.
