Ariana Grossi is a World Bank Consultant working at the intersection of Gender and Education. Her areas of expertise include Violence Against Children, School-Related Gender-Based Violence (SRGBV), Early Childhood Development (ECD) and Disaster Risk Management (DRM), with a focus on countries affected by Fragility, Conflict and Violence (FCV).
Ariana brings more than 8 years of experience with international organizations, governments and research institutions. Prior to joining the World Bank, she was a Research Assistant at the Georgetown University Initiative on Innovation, Development and Evaluation (Gui2de), and she also worked as a Gender Specialist for the School Feeding division at the World Food Programme. Before this, Ariana worked during 4 years for the government in Argentina.
An Argentinian national, Ariana holds a Master’s degree in International Development from Georgetown University, a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from Universidad Torcuato di Tella, and a Bachelor in International Relations from Universidad de San Andres.
