Arin Dutta is the HP+ senior technical director for health financing and a senior economist (director, Health Practice Area) for Palladium. He has been with Palladium since 2010, working on the economics of—and financing decisions related to—global health, and has conducted extensive mathematical modeling, evaluation, and policy design work. Arin has more than a decade of experience with health economics issues related to infectious disease and health system investments across low- and middle-income countries in Africa, Asia, and Eastern Europe. His current work focuses on guiding HP+’s growing portfolio of health financing and health economics work, with a specific interest in evaluating large-scale universal health coverage programs. Arin holds a PhD in policy analysis, in which his research focused on economic decision-making for HIV scale-up and pandemic influenza response.
