Ariya Hagh works in the measurement unit of the Department for Outcomes, where he focuses on the development and refinement of indicator data and methods. He previously worked in the methods advisory function of the Independent Evaluation Group (IEG), where he served as editor for the IEG Methods and Evaluation Capacity Development Working Paper Series. His research interests include political economy, machine learning for text analysis, and the treatment of missing data. Ariya received his MA and Ph.D. from Georgetown University, and his bachelor’s from Harvard University.
