Ariya Hagh currently works for the Methods Advisory Function of the World Bank’s Independent Evaluation Group (IEG). He provides advisory support on methodological design, data science applications, econometrics, and qualitative data analysis. He serves as managing co-editor for IEG’s Methods and Evaluation Capacity Development Working Paper Series. Prior to joining the World Bank, he taught econometrics and research design. He earned a Ph.D. in political economy from Georgetown University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in political science from Harvard University.
