Arnab Bandyopadhyay works as the Lead Transport Specialist with the World Bank and is based in New Delhi office. Arnab joined the Bank in 2001 and has since then worked in India, East Asia and East Africa in various transport and logistics operations and knowledge initiatives. During 2020-2025, Arnab worked as Infrastructure Program Leader for World Bank India office. Arnab currently coordinates Bank’s engagement in India in the Transport Sector spanning over railways, highways and rural roads, urban transport and water transport. He has several publications on Institutional Benchmarking in infrastructure sector, Integration of Safety and Climate in infrastructure and water transport to his credit and a regular speaker in national and international forums.
