Arndt Reichert is a professor of health economics and development research at the University of Hannover in Germany. He was an Economist at the World Bank Development Impact Evaluation Research Group for six years. In his work, he often uses insights from behavioral and information economics to design and (experimentally) examine policy choices. He is interested in health, energy, environmental, and labor economics. His recent articles have appeared in peer-reviewed journals like the Journal of Public Economics, Journal of Human Resources, Health Economics, and Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization. He holds a PhD in economics from the Ruhr University of Bochum.
