Arshia Gupta is a Consultant with the Food and Agriculture Global Practice of the World Bank, working in the South Asia Region. Arshia pursued her post-graduation from the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) and post that worked with the Government of Kerala’s poverty eradication mission – Kudumbashree to support micro-enterprises in several states of India. During her stint, she was involved in capacity building, conducting viability analysis, and monitoring of the enterprises supported.
Arshia is presently supporting the enterprise development component of the National Rural Economic Transformation Project (NRETP), a USD 500 million project along with Ministry of Rural Development. In addition to the World Bank, Arshia has also worked on assignments with UNDP.
