Artur Tamazian is an Associate Professor of Economics and Finance at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC). Having pursued his PhD from USC in Quantitative Finance he has collaborated with various leading universities worldwide (Aarhus, Denver, Paris, Sydney, Coimbra, among others). Dr. Tamazian is a Data Science and Tax Consultant for the World Bank’s governance global practice. He has over 15 years of experience in financial management, tax, public-private partnership, data analytics, econometric modelling, and corporate finance, has consulted a handful of international organizations, and currently serves as a CFO of a multinational corporation. His publications include works in Energy Economics, Energy Policy, Emerging Markets Review, Journal of Common Market Studies, Regional Science and Urban Economics, Kyklos, Economic Modeling, Applied Economics, to cite some.
