Aryam Talal Al-Mofti is a 14-years-old student in the 9th grade at Aisha school for girls in the Yemeni capital, Sana’a. Her greatest fear is that the current conflict in Yemen will prevent her from returning to school. Aryam dreams of being a writer one day and a human rights defender. She has become convinced that children are the biggest losers of all conflicts whether in Yemen or any other part of the world. Aryam further believes that while the world may now watch images of children dying as a result of conflict, they rarely hear their voices.
