Ashesh Prasann is a Senior Agriculture Economist at the World Bank and based in Singapore. Ashesh has previously worked in the Office of Global Director for Food & Agribusiness and led advisory and operations in Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, and East Asia and the Pacific. He has co-authored flagship reports on food systems and climate, digital agricultural technologies, and jobs in the food system. Ashesh holds a PhD from Michigan State University, a MPP from the University of Chicago, and BS in Economics and International Studies from Trinity College, Hartford.
