A Congolese national, Aubain holds a master’s degree in economics with significant experience in the health sector. He currently works on implementing the Bank’s health Congo portfolio including the response to COVID-19 and on developing the riposte plans through economics projection based on vaccines and priorities population chosen by the government. He has been with the World Bank since 2013, and was responsible for developing and analyzing strategies to attract investments into social sectors in Fragile, Conflict and Violence (FCV) countries, particularly the Republic of Congo (ROC). He has led the Bank’s engagement with the ROC Government to establish and track the implementation of the roadmap to achieving Universal Health Coverage, including supporting the development of a Health Financing Strategy.
