Aude de Montesquiou is a Special Advisor at the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development. Previously Aude was a social protection specialist in the World Bank’s Social Protection and Jobs Global Practice. She co-led the startup of the Partnership for Economic Inclusion and managed the Consultative Group to Assist the Poor (CGAP)– Ford Foundation Graduation Program, a multipartner economic inclusion initiative with 10 pilot projects in eight countries. With over 15 years of experience in poverty reduction, Aude has published widely on social protection, livelihoods, and financial inclusion. Previously, she worked on aid effectiveness, impact, and client value at CGAP and with microfinance providers in Lebanon and Togo. She holds a master’s degree in development studies from Sciences-Po Paris and a bachelor’s degree in history from the Sorbonne.
