Aurélien is an economist in the Nairobi office of the World Bank, where he works on Somalia, Burundi and Kenya (leading the Bank's work on Kenya's momentous devolution). Previously he was country economist for Comoros. He has written on decentralisation (in Madagascar, Kenya and Indonesia) as well as social protection (skills and jobs) in East Asia. Aurélien graduated from Harvard’s MPA-ID program in 2007 before joining the Bank as a Young Professional.
