Axel Rifon Pérez is a Senior Digital Development Specialist at the World Bank's office in Lima, Peru. He has over 10 years of international experience in the fields of public sector and digital development. Previously, he worked at the World Bank's headquarters in Washington, D.C., and at the World Bank's office in Kenya. He joined the Organization in 2012 and has since been dedicated to supporting operations related to connectivity and digital services in the regions of Africa, the Middle East, and North Africa. Currently, he serves as the Digital Development Coordinator for several countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.
