Ayanda Mokgolo is a Senior Financial Sector Specialist in the World Bank Group’s Finance, Competitiveness and Innovation Global Practice.
She has extensive financial sector experience, across financial stability and financial inclusion topics, and has led the design and implementation of several financial sector reform efforts in Sub-Saharan Africa and East Asia and the Pacific region.
Ayanda began her career in the investment banking industry, covering debt capital markets and equity capital markets in Sub-Saharan Africa at Absa Capital. She also gained exposure to the EMEA and US markets when she worked in the London and New York offices of Barclays. She holds a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Cape Town.
