Baljit Wadhwa is a Senior Operations Officer in the Climate Change Group in the World Bank’s Vice Presidency for Sustainable Development, where she currently leads team providing support on the World Bank’s Climate and Disaster Risk Screening and Climate Indicators commitments. She was a key member of the team preparing the WBG’s IDA19 and IDA20 Special Theme papers with policy commitments on nature and climate change. She previously led climate corporate reporting and has extensive experience leading policy and strategy with a special focus on global environmental goods. Ms. Wadhwa has also worked with the Global Environment Facility Independent Evaluation Office and the International Finance Corporation on result measurement. She holds a Master’s in Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo, Canada.
