Bao-We-Wal Bambe holds a Ph.D. in Economics and is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS) in Bonn, Germany. His research explores the effectiveness of fiscal and monetary reforms, with a particular focus on inflation targeting and fiscal rules in developing countries. A key part of his work aims to deepen understanding of the main drivers of private capital mobilization in these economies, and policies to improve firm performance. He also works as a consultant for several international institutions, including the World Bank Group and the Overseas Development Institute (ODI). His research has been published in leading economic journals such as the Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, Public Choice, Oxford Economic Papers, Economic Modelling, Journal of Macroeconomics, and Ecological Economics.
