Beatrice Phillips is a biodiversity and nature finance analyst at IFC, member of the World Bank Group. She focuses on scaling nature-smart production practices in private sector investments across emerging markets and is a strong advocate for integrating nature-based solutions into infrastructure projects. Prior to joining IFC, Beatrice worked on building resilience and inclusivity in social protection systems at the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs and researched the integration of early warning systems into humanitarian financing for natural disasters at the Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre.
Ms. Phillips has an MSc in International Development from the University of Edinburgh and a BA in International Relations from Durham University.
