Beatriz Martinez is an Agriculture and Food Consultant at the World Bank, where she contributes to both operational and analytical work across the Western and Central Africa region. Her work focuses on advancing climate-smart agriculture and scaling agriculture innovation to strengthen agricultural systems and resilience.
Beatriz joined the Bank as an Operations Analyst in the Latin America and the Caribbean Vice Presidency Front Office and had previously worked at the Economic and Commercial Office of the Spanish Embassy in the Dominican Republic and the NGO Plan International.
Beatriz holds an MBA in International Management from Menendez Pelayo International University and ICEX, and a dual Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Advertising from Rey Juan Carlos University.
