Benu Bidani is the Practice Manager of the Global Unit in the Poverty and Equity Global Practice. She has over 25 years of experience in development, working on issues of poverty, inequality, labor markets and gender across the globe. She joined the World Bank in 1996 and has since held various technical and managerial positions. She holds a Ph. D in Economics from Vanderbilt University.
