Dr. Bernard Aritua is a Senior Infrastructure Specialist in the Transport & ICT Global practice. His current role at the World Bank involves addressing infrastructure development and strategic issues with government officials at senior levels and covers major highways; railways; inland waterways; freight and logistics; and multi-modal transport. Prior to joining the World Bank, Bernard worked in both the private and public sector. He is a Chartered Engineer with a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Leeds, UK. He has led and provided technical input on large and complex projects in various countries and regions across the world including: the United Kingdom, Germany, Eastern Europe, Africa, Middle East, and more recently in India.
