Berta Macheve is a Senior Water and Sanitation Specialist and currently co-leading the water portfolio in Angola aimed at improving access to water supply service delivery in urban areas and drought resilience. Previously she worked with East Asia and Pacific Region and supported the implementation of Program for Results in Vietnam and other project in Laos, China, Philippines and Timor-Leste. Prior to joining the Bank, she worked at the Mozambican Water Regulator and led the monitoring of water utilities performance. Berta holds a Master Degree in Water Supply Engineering.
