Bertram Boie is a senior specialist for the digital agenda in the World Bank's East Asia and Pacific team. He has in previous assignments worked on transport, trade, and investment climate issues. He holds a PhD from the World Trade Institute in Berne (Switzerland), in which he analyzed the shifting patterns in investment protection schemes in bilateral investment treaties between European countries and China.
