Bianca Bianchi Alves is a Senior Urban Transport Specialist from the World Bank and Ph.D. in Transport Engineering from the Polytechnic School of Sao Paulo. She has 20 years of experience working with planning and implementation of metro lines, bus corridors, and roads both in Brazil and the US. Since joining the Bank, she has been working with Rail and BRT Projects, electric mobility, decarbonization of transport, and urban logistics.
