Bin Zhai is a Digital Specialist in the Data and AI Unit of the World Bank Group's Digital and AI Vice Presidency. Her work focuses on digital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI) for development, knowledge management and capacity building. She currently works on the Silver Digital Divide, exploring how digital and AI can help societies address the challenges and harness the opportunities of population aging. Prior to joining the Data and AI Unit, she worked across the World Bank Group on Quality Infrastructure, private sector development, and investment climate, supporting analytical work, technical assistance, and operational programs across multiple regions. She holds an MBA from Pennsylvania State University and a bachelor's degree in Economic Information Management from Capital University of Economics and Business.
