Blessings Botha is a Senior Agriculture Economist based in Maputo, in Mozambique, overseeing the agricultural portfolio. Blessings has over 15 years of experience in managing agricultural and development programs while working with various bilateral and international development institutions. Prior to joining the World Bank in 2015, Blessings worked with the Canadian International Development Agency as Country Project Manager, Irish Aid as Agriculture and Food Security Advisor, and Action Aid International as Director of Programs. He holds a Master of Science degree in Development and Resource Economics from the Agricultural University of Norway and a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Malawi.
