Boban Varghese Paul is a senior specialist with the World Bank’s Social Protection and Jobs Global Practice and focuses on livelihoods, social safety nets, and delivery systems. His prior experience includes private sector management consulting, NGOs, and government. He has advised governments and the private sector on agriculture value chain development and led the national monitoring and evaluation team of India’s largest education NGO. He was part of the chief economic adviser’s office for the government of India, working on universal basic income and other policies.
