Bouke Berns is a consultant with the Climate Change Management Units where he works to enhance social inclusion and gender equality in results-based climate financing. His area of expertise is the nexus of climate change, development, and human security, and he is experienced working within and across international organizations. Bouke previously held field positions in east Africa where he worked on a range of issues, including land tenure, migration, and climate change stresses and their spillovers into the maritime domain.
