Disaster Risk Management Analyst

Brendan is a Disaster Risk Management Analyst with the World Bank East Asia and Pacific Disaster Risk Management Team. He works on projects related to urban resilience, flood risk management and green infrastructure. His country experience includes Vietnam, China, Lao PDR and Myanmar. Brendan is closely involved in the development of analytical products, and is the co-author of Flood Risk Management at River Basin Scale (2017); Land Use Planning for Urban Flood Risk Management (2017) and other World Bank publications. Prior to joining the World Bank, Brendan worked with the United Nations Office for Project Services in Myanmar and the Singapore Economic Development Board. A native of Singapore, he is pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, and holds a Bachelor’s degree from the London School of Economics.
