Brendan Whitty has been leading the One World Trust's programme on accountability for policy relevant research for three years. In addition, with extensive research experience in Afghanistan, Brendan has managed the Trust's work on the accountability of aid, and its impact on statebuilding processes in fragile states. He has worked on and led consultancies for organisations, including the OECD, DFID, and Commonwealth Secretariat. A Graduate of Columbia University with a Masters of Law with a First Class Honours from the University of Edinburgh, Brendan has also spent time at the United Nations in New York.
