Brian Bieron is Executive Director of the eBay Inc. Public Policy Lab, an internal eBay Inc. public policy think tank focused on global public policy issues raised by the evolution of technology-enabled open, global, inclusive commerce that empowers consumers and businesses of all sizes. Major work streams include groundbreaking initiatives on “Commerce 3.0” related to the global trade activities of technology-enabled micro businesses. Speaking appearances have included Capitol Hill, the World Trade Organization, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, and working groups of the World Economic Forum. Bieron is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Council on Future of Logistics and Supply Chain, and the E15 Initiative’s Expert Group on Services. Along with heading the Policy Lab, Bieron serves a leading strategy and communications role for the eBay Inc. Global Government Relations Team.
