Bruce Thomson is a consultant in the World Bank’s Development Economics Research Group where he focuses on trade facilitation and international economic integration. Prior to joining the World Bank, Bruce advised on trade policy in the Textiles and Apparel office of the US Trade Representative (USTR). He has also supported regional trade and integration policy at USAID’s West Africa Trade Hub in Accra, Ghana. Until 2010, Bruce managed international government affairs for Unisys Corporation, a global IT consulting firm. Bruce received his Masters of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) from Georgetown University, and he graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Wake Forest University earning a B.A. with Honors in Political Science.
