Bruno is a Senior Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) analyst on S&P Global Ratings’ Sustainable Finance team. He is a primary author of a recent report on Latin America’s green bond market and is heavily involved in the rating agency’s wider sustainable finance work. Prior to his current role, he was the founder and managing director of Quetzal Strategy, a consultancy advising emerging market companies and investors on ESG risks and sustainable investing strategies. Previously, he was the Head of Latin America at Morrow Sodali, a senior sustainable investing analyst and Head of Stewardship for Latin America at Hermes Investments, and in ESG research with Innovest Strategic Value Advisors.
Currently, he serves as an ESG advisor to the Emerging Markets Investors Alliance and sits on the Global Reporting Initiative’s Independent Appointments Committee. He graduated from Durham University in Middle Eastern Studies, holds a Master's in International Political Economy from Warwick University and a Certificate in Investor Relations.
