Bruno Sánchez-Andrade Nuño

Bruno is a data scientist at LLI's Innovation Labs. His primary responsibilities are to lead the work on Big Data initiatives. He has a PhD in astrophysics from the Max Planck Institute in Germany, and a post doc in satellite and rocket science with NASA. He was Director of Science and Technology at the NGO Gain.org on climate change adaption. He was Chief Scientist at the startup Mapbox prior to joining the World Bank Group. He was a Mirzayan fellow of the US National Academie of Science in 2010 and Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum since 2013.
