Buyant Erdene Khaltarkhuu is a statistician in the World Bank’s Development Data Group. She works on technical assistance and statistical capacity building activities in client countries. She is interested in data collection, quality management, tools development and dissemination in areas of sustainable development. Previously, she worked on national accounts data compilation and produced the States and Markets section of the World Development Indicators database where the section presents data and statistics on private sector, financial system, governance, transport, ICT, and science and technology. She holds a master’s degree in Economics from Northern Illinois University.
