Cecile Kappen is a Private Sector Development Consultant with the World Bank’s Finance, Competitiveness & Innovation Global Practice (FCI). For the past 6 years, she has worked on issues relating to business regulation, value chain analysis, and investment climate reforms in Senegal and Madagascar. Prior to that, she worked for the Caribbean Country Management Unit as a Project Officer for the Caribbean Growth Forum, a regional public-private dialogue platform to accelerate reforms for private sector-led growth and foster greater focus on results and accountability. She holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP), a B.A. in Management and a B.A. in Spanish from the University of Texas at Austin.
