Camelia Minoiu is a Principal Economist in the Monetary Affairs Division at the Federal Reserve Board. Previously she worked in the Research Department at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and was a visiting scholar at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (2016–2018). Camelia’s research interests are in the areas of financial intermediation, banking regulation, and financial stability. She also conducts research on the impact of monetary and macroprudential policies on credit supply and the real economy.
