Camila is a consultant for the Education and Social Inclusion Teams of the World Bank. Since assuming her role on July 1, 2021, she has been part of several projects in Peru: an investment project aimed at fostering the use of technology to enhance students' learning, a lending operation to boost Peruvian human capital, the implementation of impact evaluations with school principals and managerial positions in the Peruvian Education System, and strategy monitoring projects in collaboration with the Ministry of Education of Peru. Camila holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Universidad del Pacífico in Peru and has 4 years of experience in the design, implementation and evaluation of public policies from the research, consultancy, and public sectors’ perspectives. Prior to joining the World Bank, Camila worked as a Planning and Budget Analyst at the Ministry of Education, where she oversaw the strategic budget evaluation and economic analysis to design and monitor Higher Education programs. In her previous role at the Ministry of Economics, Camila was in charge of tax collection, social impact, food security, and solid waste management projects for over 1,800 local governments.
