Camilo Lombana is a Senior Water Supply and Sanitation Specialist who focuses on water sector reform and utility strengthening and turnaround. Camilo has worked on the water sector for more than 18 years and has relevant experience in policy making, water sector regulation and financing, and utility operations. Camilo has worked with the Bank for over 9 years and is currently responsible for the implementation of water projects and initiatives in the Europe and Central Asia region as well as other global programs supported by the Water Global Practice, like the Utility of the Future initiative. Before joining the World Bank, Camilo worked for the water utility of Bogota and the Vice ministry of Water and Sanitation in Colombia. Camilo holds a BSc in Civil Engineering and master’s degrees in Water Resources Management, Economic Regulation of Public Utilities and Public Policy and Management.
