Carlo Alberto Amadei is a Water Specialist at the World Bank’s Water Global Practice, currently based in Islamabad. He focuses on delivering clean water and wastewater treatment solutions to both urban and rural communities across Pakistan. He is also leading initiatives to promote circular economy principles to efficiently use water resources. His passion for climate led him to spend some of his work time in the Climate Change Group focusing on advocacy and on the transition to a low-carbon economy. Carlo Alberto pursued a Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences from Harvard University (2019) where he researched new emerging materials for wastewater reuse.
