Carlos E. Cuevas is a faculty member at the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance, University of Washington, Seattle, and a Senior Consultant with the World Bank Group. He lectures on development finance and program evaluation.
Previously, Dr. Cuevas was a Deputy Director at the Bill & Melinda Gates foundation, from 2009 to 2013, and served as a Financial Sector Development economist at the World Bank from 1995 to 2008. Dr. Cuevas holds a Master of Science degree in agricultural economics from the Catholic University of Chile and a Ph.D. in agricultural economics from The Ohio State University.
