Carlos Góes

Carlos Góes is a spatial economist whose research agenda lies at the intersection of macroeconomics and international trade. He previously worked as a senior economic adviser in the Office of the President of Brazil and as a researcher at the International Monetary Fund, the World Trade Organization, and some US think tanks. A doctoral candidate in economics from the University of California San Diego, he holds a master’s degree in international economics from Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies.
