Carmen Estrades is an Associate Professor at the University of the Republic, Uruguay. She has collaborated as a consultant for the World Bank for over 10 years, in projects related to Trade policy, Trade agreements and Fiscal reforms. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Bordeaux IV, France. She has extensive experience in computable general equilibrium models, mostly applied to trade policy analysis. She is a Research Fellow at PEP (Partnership for Economic Policy) Network and a member of the National Research System in Uruguay.
