Carmen Lahoz is a Senior Social Development Specialist. She is currently working at the World Bank Country Office in Maputo, Mozambique. She has more than 25 years of experience in several countries of Africa, Latin America and Asia, working with the UN, EU, NGOs and consultancy firms. Carmen works on rural development, food security forest and other social issues. Carmen holds a Master's degree from the University of Reading (UK) in social rural development. She also has a specialization in development cooperation from the Complutense University of Madrid (Spain) and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the Autonnoma University of Madrid (Spain).
