Carmen is an Economist in the Governance Global Practice at the World Bank, working on governance and public sector reform issues in Malaysia and other East Asian countries. Prior to joining the World Bank, Carmen worked as an Economist at the Central Bank of Malaysia, and at TalentCorp, Malaysia’s national talent agency. She received her master’s degree in Economics from the University of Auckland in New Zealand.
